My In-Laws Are Always Showing Off Their Vacation?

My in-laws (parents in law and one of my sister in law) are always talking about their vacation, every time they go on vacation. They would write emails, show pics, postcards about it. I know there is nothing wrong with talking about where you traveled too but it is way too much and it's annoying too. But since they are well off, that's the only thing they mostly talk about. that and their family. Sometimes it is annoying because my family and I can't afford to go traveling all the time, maybe once a year. We work and have a family to raise and we are not rich. Even if we did go on vacation, we hardly show pics and talk about it with others who are less fortunate than we are. I think it would be nice for my in laws to go do some volunteer work and talk about that instead of their vacations, I would appreciate and respect them more. Am I selfish? Severe menstral cramps, what should I do?

So I'm on my period and it's worse than usual. I have blinding lower back cramps, a fever, dizziness, and fatigue. No irritability though. I've tried everything. Why is it my Angelfish fry keep disappearing?

My two healthy Angelfish have spawned good, fertile eggs three times! The first time, all the other fish were removed from the aquarium. Parents and babies were kept alone! Babies hatched and went through the regular growth process. On the 7th. day, not one was seen in the tank. The parents gave it a second try about a month later. This time, the parents were also removed...all went fine until the 7th. day, when again, they just "disappeared". I gave up trying to raise Angelfish, when again they surprised me with another large batch of eggs. Great! I was very enthusiastic again! They went through all the stages...hatch-lings, wigglers, and free swimmers! Newly hatched brine shrimp was fed and still, on the 7th. day...you guessed it, they were no more! Filter was also turned OFF. Now, I'm suspecting the aquarium light should not be turned off at night...should I keep the light on 24/7?

Why do Christians feel as though they need to save people?

Why does it seem that most Christians (not all) feel as though they need to save people and convert them to Christianity? I have seen this time and time again. Christians imposing on other peoples believes as though just because it was not of their belief that it was not of God or dark-sided. I consider myself a very spiritual person delving into my own soul and spirit to find peace and happiness but of a different approach. What is so different about believing in the essence of life in a different manner? why is that so dark? I am greatly into meditation and bettering oneself to understand more of my life's purpose and to just be an all around 'good person'. why do i sometimes still encounter these so called 'christians' that still beleive that I need to be a part of their religion to be truly saved. how insulting this is and demeaning to ones character! do they realize they are doing more harm then good and even maybe tarnishing their own religion in this dogmatic thought and approach??? I am just a curious person trying to find different views on this spectrum of thought. maybe even some enlightenment as to why this behavior exists within the christian realm of thought. this train of thought is completely evident among most of the Christians I have met. You can see this behavior by watching the episode of Trading Spouses with Marguerite Perrine. I am not at all putting down Christianity in any way and wish not to hear any negative connotations or comments on the subject. How do I set the time zone on my Sharp SPC384D Atomic Clock?

A couple of years ago, I bought a Sharp SPC384D bedside alarm clock, which gets time signals from the NIST atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado, which is THE legal standard for time keeping in the US. Recently, I had to change the batteries. As you might expect, the current time and date were wiped out when I did so. Once the new batteries were in place, I was able to reset the time and date without any real problems. I was not able, however, to reset the clock for the Central time zone, which is where I am living. My car won't start, I think it's a fuel problem. I would appreciate any help.?

So here is the deal. I have a 92 Chrysler New yorker Fifth Avenue, With a 3.8 Multi-port fuel injection. Up til yesterday it was running fine, but last night when I went to start the car it would not start. It will turn over and I can get it to run using starting fluid. I decided it was fuel problem so i started with the usual problem. I started with the fuel filter, and still no change. I then pulled the fuel lines from the engine and I am getting fuel from both the supply and return line. I can also hear the fuel pump running after turning on the key as well as while I'm starting the car. My fuel pump has been really loud for a very long time. Now for how the car acts while I try to start it. When i turn the key it turns over and I can tell it's trying to start. Some of the time while turning the engine over and pressing the fuel peddle about half way down it will start and rev up then idle down and die. If i pump the fuel peddle really fast I can get the car to run for about two minutes or so. As soon as i stop pumping and try letting off or staying steady on the peddle it just idles down and dies. I also disconnected the fuel lines for the engine and the filter and used a compressor to blow out the line. I then used the compressor to blow out the line that leads to the in-tank fuel pump. I only used about 15psi in attempt to not damage the fuel pump. My thought was maybe some debris was blocking the screen on the fuel pump, it had no effect. I'm really out of ideas and I'm looking for some suggestions and what to check or what could be wrong. I really only have one thought left about what could be wrong. I'm thinking the fuel pump is weak and unable to pump a sufficient amount of fuel into the engine. I don't feel like this is the reason because I've always thought pumps don't weaken when they are about to stop the just simply stop working. Oh one more thing, One the fuel rail there is a valve like that of the A/C pipes or a larger version of a tire valve stem. I unscrewed the cap and use a point to press the valve in, and fuel did spill out. This also leads me to believe that it may not be a fuel problem but something else. Please help!

I do get annoyed about the mess in my room but for some reason i dont get the 'urge' to clean it. Will bending the tire nipple cause the pressure gauge to read higher?

I have this hub cap that conceals the tire nipple. In order to get at it, I have to bend the nipple to one side to get around one of the spokes on the hub cap. Will this effect a pressure reading with a tire gauge? I have it pumped up to the appropriate pressure, but it still looks low. I can't take the hub cap off unless I take all the lugs off.

feeding question?

Everything I read and everyone I talk to says feeding is the way to go. In fact most chat sites Ive been on criticize women pretty harshly that choose not to feed. I know all the benefits and I really wanted to, but unfortunately I only have milk coming in on one side, it is so incredibly painful, I just dont think I can keep it up. Ive managed to last about a week, but this weekend Im thinking about making the switch to formula. its hard to tell, it looks like the paper has previously been stained or dyed that color. if you can enlarge the pic anymore and if you see definite lines in the tanish color or streaks of the same color then it was prolly color pencil. when you stain or dye it shouldn't leave streaks, but the streaks could have been put in there as well..so its hard to tell

Ok, so I've been wondering lately, if this all life is suppose to be? It seems like all anyone does is finnish high school, go to collage, get married, have to kids and by a big house. I'm 18 and in my senior year of high school and I haven't enjoyed it one bit. High school seemed so slow, nothing but gossiping kids, fights, drugs, drinking, people cutting themselves, rumors, teachers not teaching(all they do is write notes on the board and have us copy it), its nothing but drama and my parents tell me since I haven't enjoyed high school, that Im going to regret it because life sucks after high school. They say its nothing but stress and drama. These things really been bothering me lately, I get so scared sometimes fearing that their is going to be nothing in life, but the things I mentioned. I originally want to be in the Army so I joined the DEP(delay entry program were you train with them one year before basic), but that's been like high school all over again, nothing but rumors and drama. My town is just a small town, with no place to go, just a grocery store, and house everywhere, nothing to do. I dont drink or smoke but 90% of the kids here do. I can't seem to find happiness anymore, no matter what I try it leads to more stress and drama. I skateboard but everywhere I skate, the cops get called or people get mad, I wanted to try BMX racing but I havent made it out to the track yet(rain, races cancelled,etc) I want to start a punk, metal or garage rock band but kids in my town only listen to mainstream rock, rap or emo. I really just want to find happiness again, but it seems I cant, how can I? Is life really just nothing but this?

Ok here's the deal, I work part time at a call center and while working this past Saturday I took a call from this one man. I immediately greeted him with the normal greeting we have in our script. He then immediately asked me, 'Are you American?' Which I am, so I replied, 'Yes'. To which he responded, 'Are ya?' Then I said, 'Yessss, Do I not sound American?' Then he replied, 'No, no you do' and then he hung up on me!! I've been thinking about this call since I took it this past Saturday. I usually just brush off prank or mean calls, but for some reason this call's just stuck in my mind. I wished I could have replied with something such as, 'Yes sir I am American. Is there some sort of problem or may I go ahead and continue with your order today?' But I didn't get enuf time to think about it. Just wonderin, why would someone ask me this and then hang up on me? Frigidaire full refrigerator (PLRU1778ESO) not getting cold at all, everything runs fine?

The frige will not get cold at all. It runs, lights work, compressor turns off (and it get's warm), turns off for the defrost cycle and on again, fan works, drain isn't clogged. Everything looks great except it doesn't get cold. There will be some cool air coming in but never cold enough. It wasn't used for several months, plugged in and appeared to be doing fine but in the morning it was almost room temp.

Solids at 10 weeks old?

i have just taken my little girl who will be 10 weeks old tomorrow to the doctor as she has been unsettled and has a croaky voice for the last 2 days, he said she has mild gastric reflux, also a reaction to her immunisations last thursday and is going through a growth spurt, he suggested i give her a tablespoon of weetbix mixed with apple puree to help settle the gastric reflux and help with the growth spurt, but i am very reluctant as she is not even 3 months old yet and am worried if i do give her solids so young she will develop food allergies, anyone else given solids this young? I have a history project which we have to make a slideshow and play an accompanying son for. The slideshow is about civilian deaths from the atomic bombs and the iraq war. I would take him to another doctor. At 34 pounds he is under the 5th percentile for his age. He is right at the 5th percentile for height though, so it may not be anything to worry about. Especially if he has always been at the 5th percentile or lower. He may just be small for his age. It seems as if he is eating ok. Does he have lots of diarrhea? That can be a sign that he isn't absorbing the fats that he is eating. Especially if the diarrhea seems to be oily. Not absorbing fats and being thirsty a lot are both symptoms that need to be looked at.

Absolutely! It adds a personal touch, especially if your story is written in third-point perspective. Sci-Fi novels often have a tendancy to get very... unrealistic and slightly hard for modern-day readers to connect to. If your extract is from a time very similar to ours, then all the better! really need someone's help to make a good decision here. I met a man from Turkey (actually he is of Kurdish descent, but was raised in Turkey). He has been in the U.S. for 3 years, residing in SC and working in hotel management. He started calling me askim and telling me seni seviyorum very quickly...within 2 or 3 phone calls. How do I remove motor oil out of trunk carpet?

I had a 5 gallon jug of oil in my trunk and the cap wasn't tightened on very well so it ALL leaked on the removeable carpet lid that is over the spare tire and down into spare tire well. I've tried several things to get the oil soaked into the carpet out, and nothing has worked. fyi: i got incorporated about a year ago but as of 1/1/08 i am an s-corp. if i had taxable income (after right offs, expenses) of say 180,000.00 but i put 80,000.00 from my personal account into the corporation would i pay taxes on 180,000.00 or 100,000.00? my accountant says i have to pay it on 180 but next year in 08 i will not have to pay taxes on the 80k. why is this? if i didn't make 180 why do i pay taxes on it?

If she has teeth problems then this will stop her eating and would imagine your vet has already checked this out. I am sorry to hear that she is unwell and would possibly advise you to go back to the vet and have a chat as she maybe in pain if she has an underlying problem. If you feel she is suffering then you owe it to her to let her p away with dignity. You could spend lots of money and also suffering to her to locate the reason to why she is ill but you will end up with a hefty vets bill and a poorly cat. Please rely on your own judgement and decide what is best for her. Its a very sad time when you lose a pet that is part of the family and whom you are close too.
