Follicle and corpus lutem what are they and what are there differences?

The follicle is what your egg grows in, once you ovulate, the empty follicle becomes to corpus luteum, which is a cyst, and its what produces progesterone, so if the egg gets fertilized, it has a good chance of attaching properly to the uterine wall, for a viable pregnancy.
