I need to choose a monolgue for my drama hsc ?

so just started year 12 and i want an idea for a drama monologue! i want something serious, but if theres a funny one it would be good. i would like to be nominated for on stage, and throughout the years ive seen it, i think the main idea is a "social" issue current to the time, or a touchy subject. for example like dolly the sheep, or anything due to this time period. and i dont want it to be like really famous, i want it unique! any ideas ? thanks alot
