Parakeet with what looks to be shell in nose?

One of my parakeets looks to have a hull of a seed in its nose its kind of white im afraid to catch the bird and pick it out because he hasnt yet been handtrained and I dont want to cause stress to them.Should I let him get it out on his own or in the morning pick it out for him?And how would i get it out?
