What is the impact of the Jesuit Education to Jose Rizal greatness?

The Jesuits have always been marked by a more active involvement with the "outside world" than other religious orders; thus many Jesuits also tend to be learned in science, technology, medicine, literature, etc. In such an atmosphere that encouraged intellectual pursuits and artistic creativity(which other orders might have considered dangerous), Rizal flourished, thus laying the seeds of his greatness.
