Why do people want the Bulls to pick Derrick Rose?

I've been a Bulls fan since I was six, and I'm very upset that many people think that the Bulls are going to waste a pick-yes, I said waste-on Derrick Rose. Now, I wouldn't be opposed to Derrick Rose being drafted, but I am because of the fact that we do not need Derrick Rose. Derrick Rose is a guard, and we have a strong backcourt with Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon. We don't need another guard, because there is no need. On the other hand, we do not have that strong a front court, and Luol Deng needs help in the front court. Michael Beasley is the obvious number 1 pick in the NBA Draft, yet he may not be chosen by the team that needs him.
